Valves

BALL VALVES

A ball valve is a valve with a spherical disc, the part of the valve which controls the flow through it Ball valves are durable and usually work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications and are often preferred to globe valves and gate valves for this purpose Ball valves can be found in a number of different styles. Some of these include one-piece, two-piece, three-piece and lastly, what is referred to as flanged body construction. Each form of ball valve has its own good and bad points, all dependent on what each application calls for. Ball valves are made using an assortment of materials, some of which include brass, bronze, cast iron, copper ductile iron, metal alloys, stainless and other steel types, and plastics (including CPVC and PVC)

PRESSURE RATING :

UPTO 3000 PSI (210KG/CM2)

APPLICATION :

Ball valves are to be found being used in ALL industries. Some of these include HYDRAULIC, PNEUMATIC, chemical, oil, pharmaceutical, allied process and also services such as corrosive and cryogenic.

GATE VALVES

A gate valve, also known as a sluice valve, is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid. The distinct feature of a gate valve is the sealing surfaces between the gate and seats are planar, so gate valves are often used when a straight-line flow of fluid and minimum restriction is desired Gate valves may have flanged ends which are drilled according to pipeline compatible flange dimensional standards. Gate valves are typically constructed from cast iron, ductile iron, cast carbon steel, gun metal, stainless steel, alloy steels, and forged steels.

Size :

15 MM TO 600 MM

NON-RETURN VALVES

Check valves are two-port valves, meaning they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave.non-return valves protect plants, pipelines and outlet points against reverse gasflow and meet all relevant standards and regulations. A high-quality sealing system prevents leakages and dirt filters at the inlet point assure long service life of the non-return valves.

Some non-return valve models can also be used as flashback arrestors. All non-return valves can be mounted in any orientation, are available with all connections, in CAST IRON, brass, stainless steel and are suitable for almost all technical gases.

BUTTER FLY VALVES

We hold expertise in offering a comprehensive array of Cast Iron Wafer Type Butterfly Valve. These products are obtained from trusted manufacturers, who use premium quality raw material in the production process.

Specifications :

  • Conforming to BS:5155 / IS:13095
  • Nitrile / Neoprene / EPDM integrally moulded body lining
  • Cast Iron / S.S. disc to IS:210 FG 200 / AISI 304
  • Low Pressure drop across the valve
  • Easy to install between flanges
  • Visually attractive
  • Size Range 40 mm to 300 mm

GLOBE VALVES

A globe valve, different from ball valve, is a type of valve used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a generally spherical body.

Globe valves are named for their spherical body shape with the two halves of the body being separated by an internal baffle. This has an opening that forms a seat onto which a movable plug can be screwed in to close (or shut) the valve.

The flow pattern through a globe valve involves changes in direction, resulting in greater resistance to flow, causing high pressure drop. The globe valve is an excellent valve to use for on-off service, but is highly suited for frequent cycling and control of fluids anywhere in amount or volume between the open and closed positions.

Masaf Engg supplies threaded, socket-weld, flanged and butt weld ends. Globe valves pressure classes include 150 through 1500.
